With the old Chemical Imaging and Structures Laboratory webpage approaching its third anniversary, it seemed necessary to create a new site reflecting the changes in the group in addition to providing a significantly increased amount of information to visitors, while preserving the design principles and logo of the old site.

The newly designed CISL website featured a more beautiful interface; simpler, more refined navigation, and major updates to the personnel, research and education pages. The personnel page was updated with a modified group picture, linking to headshots of each group member with their descriptions, in order to provide viewers with a more personalized look at the research group. The research and education pages were revamped as well, with the former now having a “featured article” on the top and the latter describing in detail the Virtual Bioimaging Laboratory, a project closely affiliated with CISL which I also had the pleasure of designing.
